Charaz in Nepal

This is the simplest, as well as the hardest, method of making hashish. All the worker needs to do is rub the plants continuously between his hands until the resin, accumulating on his palms, becomes thick enough to be safely scraped off. To obtain what will ammount to a relatively small quantity, at the end of a working day, requires great physical effort. As if this were not already hard enough, the conscientious worker can begin his work only well into the day. He continues it under the burnig sun. He had to wait for the plants to dry out the moisture they retained during the subtropical night. If he were to rub the wet plants early in the mornig, he could obtain a greater -and heavier- quontity of hashish at the end of his working day.An honest prouducer is never seduced by this temptation. It would greatly affect the quality of his product.
