Giobia, an italian band with a very original attitude (folk, brit-pop, techno-dance
influences),
were born around setpember 1995.
Took the 'Giobia' name from the witches of the celtic tradition,
burnt and tortured in the name
of the inquisition.
They represent one of the many "cadorna sound" bands (with
Sunscape, Eyeliner, Soon,
Korova Milk Bar, Transonia, and a
few others), that take their name from the garage where
they rehearse, near the piazza Cadorna railway station, in Milan, Italy.
In the march '97 they finally found a female
singer, Rossella (ex Dudule'), adding voice
and a pop attitude to many instrumental pieces, reaching this mixture of irish folk and
popular
music, of techno-dance and british psichedelic-pop.

12 strings) electric and acoustic.
