- 8/4/97 - Radio Blackout intimidated again! The special
squads came once again with an order to seize the inkjet
printer they didn't pick up the other time. Apparently
they're implicitly accusing Radio Blackout of having
forged the "Information Note" anonymously
received some weeks ago. Translated from cops' slang, the
message is: "you shouldn't spread that document and
you better stay off this inquiry". Read the press release by Radio
Blackout.

has just been searched by the Carabinieri (military
police). The search warrant has been signed by judges
Marini, Ionta, and De Crescenzo -- the scope of the
search was to collect information and evidences about the
"Information Note for internal use only"
anonymously sent to Radio Blackout some days ago (the
information note can still be read at http://www.ecn.org/zero/cda/press/ros.htm
). You can read the official
press release by Radio Blackout about the fact.
- 7/18/97 - New update -
result of the preliminary hearing againts the Italian
anarchists: they will be formally prosecuted for
terrorism and subversion. trial will begin on the 20th
october, 1997 in Rome. English translation
available. German
summary and a statement by the german journal Geist
der Freiheit also available.
- 7/13/97 - Important! A letter has been sent anonymously
to Radio Blackout, a free radio in Turin. It contains an
"informative note for internal use only"
written by the ROS - Raggruppamenti Operativi Speciali
(Special Squads) of the Carabinieri (Italian military
police), summarizing the last twenty years of
investigations against the Italian anarchist movement.
Please note that the general investigative methods used
by the Carabinieri are being questioned right now by
Italian newspapers, after the discovery of illegal
activities ordered and carried out by major police
officers (including drug traffic and false proofs given
by police informers). The report on Italian anarchism
anonymously sent to Radio Blackout, "for internal
use only", confirms that unlawful practices have
been used also to collect evidences against the
anarchists. You can read the entire
informative note, or a briefer official statement with a few
excerpts written by Radio Blackout.

the Anarchist Defence Committee. Preliminary hearing has

public diffusion of news and updates on the Net. He
required to postpone the hearing in order to collect more
proofs and documents, including everything about this web
site and mailing lists used by the
"terrorists". We're warned: cops are watching
us and they aren't probably gonna like us! Stay tuned for
more news.
